President & CCO
Alexander Duckworth, President and Founder of Point One Percent, has marketed many well-known brands ranging from Microsoft and Williams-Sonoma to Ralph Lauren and Tiffany & Co. After graduating cum laude from Parsons School of Design in New York City, Alexander joined Hakuhodo in Japan as an Art Director on the Coca-Cola account. He then returned to the U.S. to work at many acclaimed agencies, such as McCann-Erickson New York and SS+K. In early 2002 Alexander started Point One Percent to focus his strategic and creative talents on a niche market — the wealthiest .1% of the population. At POP, Alexander has worked on a large variety of luxury brands including Paul Stuart, Barneys NY, Christie's, Harry Winston and The Standard. He and his family split their time between NYC and Litchfield, CT.
As an experienced, award-winning Creative Director, Katie's focus is on all aspects of the luxury industry with clients around the world. She has broad experience in everything from brand strategy and identity design to art direction and production and leads the design team with gusto and a smile. Prior to joining Point One Percent over a decade ago, Katie worked at the prestigious ad agency, Luquire George Andrews, in Charlotte, NC. After hours she spends her time in Brooklyn balancing her love for food, love for boxing and love for family time.
Tom is a designer originating from the UK. Prior to joining Point One Percent he was a freelance design consultant working both remotely and in-house for various organizations spanning both New York and London. Tom is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he played on the men’s golf team for four years. He is the Co-Founder of a contemporary leather goods brand called Alstad Goods and in his spare time he can be found dreaming up new products and curating its digital presence.
Maddie first joined Point One Percent in 2013 as a summer intern, took a short hiatus to graduate from Lafayette College and eagerly rejoined the team as soon as she got the chance. Having grown up working in her family's fine jewelry store, Maddie has a true passion for luxury — even though hot dogs are her favorite food. With a background in Policy, Arts and Media, Maddie manages the strategic brand and campaign development for the real estate, lifestyle and tech clients.
Jiah is a designer and third culture kid from Seoul, Korea. Prior to joining Point One Percent, she worked both in-house and freelance for companies such as Design House Publishing, Perrier and Snapple. Jiah is a graduate of Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London and received a Masters in Arts and Cultural Management at King’s College University in London. Jiah is a huge traveler, foodie and gummy bear killer. When she isn’t eating a bag of Haribo, you can find her illustrating and rapping at karaoke.
Director of Accounting
Dan Pascaru has more than 20 years combined experience as Controller, CFO and COO in multiple sectors, including telecommunications, consumer products, marketing and media. Dan’s background in all aspects of operations, including Accounting/Finance, IT, HR, Customer Service, and creating strong business relationships helped him in founding successful companies, and overseeing their growth from the start-up to medium/large size phase. Dan graduated Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with a Masters of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the New York University Polytechnic School of Engineering.
Prior to joining Point One Percent, Elijah worked for a mezzanine debt and middle market buyout fund, the private equity group of Mercer Management Consulting and Lehman Brothers. At Point One Percent, Elijah's clients have ranged from Paul Stuart to The Worth Collection and NAU to Harry Winston. Elijah is also a a partner in POP Capital. Outside of POP, Elijah is active in the investment management industry, acting as a Board Member of the Family Office Association and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events. Elijah is a graduate of Columbia College, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and Columbia Business School where he was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. He is active philanthropically and is the Secretary of the Kent School Alumni Council.
Dom is Point One Percent's Account Director from London. After graduating from De Montfort University with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Media and while living in the U.K., he sourced and activated integrated advertising campaigns for some of the biggest distributors in the industry such as Nissan, Samsung and P&G. In 2010, Dom moved to the U.S. to join Publicis where he dedicated himself to developing Citibank's global strategic and creative consistency. Armed with this experience, Dom now applies his areas of expertise including brand, advertising and content marketing strategy to all of his Point One Percent clients. Outside of the office, his love of film continues and when he's not on a bike, either commuting or exploring, he can be found experimenting in the kitchen for himself and his wife.
